The Faculty of Entrepreneurship organized a minor course on Technology-based Entrepreneurship at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Technical Campus

 

Following a technology-based entrepreneurial minor which was held at master level at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Tehran in October, 2016, a meeting was held on July 13, 2017at the premises of the Faculty of Entrepreneurship which was attended by:

  • Dr. Majid Nili Ahmadabadi, Dean of School of Electrical and Computer Engineering;
  • Dr. Naser Maasoumi, Adjunct Professor of Faculty of Entrepreneurship;
  • Dr. Ali Mobini Dehkordi, Director of Department of Technological Entrepreneurship;
  • Dr. Behrouz Zarei; Member of Department of Corporate Entrepreneurship;
  • Dr. Mohammad Reza Zali, Dean of Faculty of Entrepreneurship;
  • Mrs. Eng. Mohammadi, Planner and Organizer of the minor course on Technology-based Entrepreneurship for undergraduate students at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering;

The attendees decided to organize a minor course in technology entrepreneurship for undergraduate programs as well. Additionally, the Faculty of Entrepreneurship proposed to offer training for two groups of students as follows:

  • Group I: 72 hours of entrepreneurial education for the students who have created ideas for knowledge-based products and have further taken the preliminary steps for commercialization of their products.
  • Group II: 100 hours of entrepreneurial education for the students who have some primary ideas but not yet taken serious actions to start up a business. Further, summer workshops will also be organized for entrepreneurial education.
