AIESEC is a global, non-political, independent, not-for-profit organization run by students and recent graduates of institutions of higher education. Our members are interested in world issues, leadership and management.

AIESEC in Iran
 
AIESEC in Iran was officially established in 2007 with the support of the University of Tehran, and its office is placed at the Entrepreneurship Faculty. Also, AIESEC in Iran won the ING Award for the relative growth among the AIESEC network in 2009.
Since its establishment, AIESEC in Iran has had 377 members, and it has sent 97 Iranians abroad for international internship opportunities, plus it has received 37 interns from different countries in Iran. AIESEC in Iran plans and strives to increase these numbers substantially in the future, as there is a lot of potential within the student and corporate sectors, and the society in Iran.
Further, AIESEC in Iran with the help of companies and University of Tehran, has held different events such as Career Fair (3 times), Talent Day, National Leadership Development Seminar, and different workshops.
For the current year, AIESEC in Iran plans to hold events such as Employer Volunteer day, National Conference, Empowerment Project for incoming interns, Career Fair and Summer projects.
