Mohammad Ali Moradi is associate professor in the Faculty of Entrepreneurship at the University of Tehran, Iran. He is currently a visiting associate professor at the PHBS Business School at the Peking University. He was the Head of Entrepreneurship Development Department and a member of the Postgraduate Council in the Faculty of Entrepreneurship four years, 2015-2019. Moradi completed his PhD at the University of Liverpool in England and his MA at the University of Tehran, Iran. His main research interests lie in the areas of entrepreneurship development policymaking, ranging from theory to practice, and improvement of business environment policy. Moradi has also written two books and published 34 articles in the national and international journals. Moreover, he has written 13 articles published in Encyclopedias. A statue was awarded for writing the book entitled "Business environment: Theories, indices and techniques" which was selected as a book of year among universities books publishers in Iran in 2016. A statue was awarded for selecting as the top professor at the University of Tehran, Iran in 2016 and a statue was awarded as the best supervisor of MA dissertation and PhD thesis on the topics of growth and employment in Iran, 2018.  Moreover, he was awarded a statue for his strong academic research background by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran in 2009. He is Co-Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Entrepreneurship Education and was editorial Board, Co-Editor-in-Chief, Editor-in-Chief of "The Quarterly Journal of New Economy and Commerce" over the period 2005-2015. Moreover, he has served as referee of 8 International Journals and 18 national Journals. Moradi is the instructor of PhD in the entrepreneurship development policy making, macroeconomics, schools of economic thought, market forecasting and the development of business environment courses and MA in the entrepreneurship development policy making, financial management, business environment analysis, advanced macroeconomics I and II and econometrics courses. He had served as supervisor and adviser of 53 MA and PhD students and served several workshops including "System of Theorizing in Social Science", "Innovation in Business" and "Schools of Economic Thought". He has served almost 10 conferences programs as a scientific committee chair, member of policymaking councils as well as the member of scientific committees of international and national conferences. He has presented two keynote speeches at international conference and served as a scientific committee chair of the 2nd and 3rd International Conference on Entrepreneurship: Emphasizing Improvement of Business Environments in 2014 and 2016.
